Abstract submission

Participants are encouraged to submit papers for oral or poster presentations related to the topics of the congress. Abstracts will be reviewed by the session chairpersons for the scientific content. Standard oral and poster presentations will be of the same scientific credit. The session chairpersons will select the papers for oral presentation; however, they will take authors' preferences into consideration. Please be aware that the final decision will be made by the Scientific Committee. Authors will be notified of the acceptance of their abstract(s) several weeks before the end of the early registration fee deadline. Papers included in the oral and poster sessions will appear both in the Book of Abstracts and also in electronic format (CD or pen drive) in the same format. The Book of Abstracts will be published by Springer as a supplement of the European Biophysics Journal.

Technical requirements

One author may submit only one abstract. The presenting author should pay the registration fee until 30 June 2011 in order to be included in the scientific programme. Deadline for abstract submission: 31 March 2011.

Abstracts should include:

Title: limited to 100 characters (including spaces - All lower case, except for first letter, for first letter of names, and for abbreviations. No full stop at the end of the title)
Authors: limited to 14 authors
Affiliations: limited to four affiliations consisting of Institution, Town, Country (font: 9pt Times).
Text: limited to 1300 characters (including spaces). There is no space for figures.
The text should be written and uploaded in doc file.
